Totally agree that they left Warcraft 3 in a state as bad as it has never been before. There’s never been a Blizzard game left out to die before and it’s a shame it’s hitting Warcraft 3: The game which made Warcraft popular enough to make WoW a success. Probably the most important game Blizzard has ever released. I started replaying the campaign (i did that every 2-3 years since 2002), sadly (or thankfully) last time i finished the campaign was prior reforged for the hype (dear god) of its release. So i started replaying it 4 months ago and sadly stuck because of constant crashes in the maiev campaign. World of Warcraft Arena World Championship. Warcraft® III: Reforged™ If you have tried all of these steps and still require assistance, I like the cartoony look of WarCraft, I even like the ToonCraft mod for Starcraft, but I think the new WC3 Reforged graphics should have gone for a more gritty approach, I think the new graphics look cheesy and over detailed but not in a gritty way (i guess its cuz they based it on WoW instead of Wc3, which is stupid imo) Warcraft 3 is a 9.8/10 game. Reforged all in all is a 8/10 game, because its basically the same game, units, gameplay, but with a lot of stuff taken away and it looks awful. It doesn't really make sense to judge a remaster by giving it a score based on the qualities it simply still retains from the original. This is our last major patch prior to Reforged. The march toward Reforged continues. warcraft 3 reforged was anounced with a december 31 release date, that means that it is not coming out this year no matter what. that is a placeholder release date, meaning that the earliest release data is january next year. When WC3: Reforged is launched, I bet thats when there might be bigger chance to get players against you that are not so experienced, but ofc there are also going to be many former veterans/players like me who know and remember the basics and thus as complete newbie you might get some tougher opponents in some cases. The only way to eliminate the lag is to reduce the resolution but for an 18 year old game that I had to intention in purchasing a remaster of, this is far from optimal. Edit: Replaced “menus” with “backgrounds”. It says I have 170-180 fps on menus (reforged) but it stills looks like its about 10-15 fps. They are referring to a former Reforged developer who goes by Kam on Hiveworkshop. Before Kam left Bliz, his team had made hundreds of fixes to the campaign, but they never got released. They were finally implemented in the 1.33 PTR and assumingly in 1.33 live. Been playing the last month through Reforged. Had no problems until the update came out. L2xE.
